Phoenix House Texas Closes Its Adolescent Outpatient Clinics & Last Residential Treatment Center
Phoenix House Texas closed all six of its outpatient clinics and its last residential treatment center for adolescents at the end of September 2023. The organization said the decision was due to funding difficulties. The organization’s services had been funded by federal block grants administered by the state, but the organization believes it can no longer count on the state for funding. Going forward, Phoenix House Texas will focus entirely on preventive services and public awareness.
