Trial Comparing Woebot To Clinician-Led Pyschotherapy Reveals Intervention Reduces Depressive Symptoms Among Adolescents
Woebot Health said that participants who talked to Woebot’s digital mental health intervention study app had reduced depression symptoms that were statistically indistinguishable from those experienced in clinician-delivered therapy. The clinical trial used a randomized controlled trial among adolescents comparing W-GenZD, a Woebot-based study app, with a clinician-led telehealth cognitive behavioral therapy skills group. The trial found participants who talked to Woebot’s study app had reductions depression symptoms that were statistically indistinguishable from those experienced in clinician-delivered therapy.
