On June 20, 2012, the Addiction Treatment Providers Association (ATPA) sent a letter to the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services regarding the public comment timeframe for Executive Order #38. ATPA included information on what sets them apart from nonprofit providers. ATPA also included information to consider in granting for-profits a waiver from Executive Order #38.
