Pharos Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Remote Cardiac Monitoring System Company RhythMedix  

Private equity firm Pharos Capital acquired a majority stake in RhythMedix, which makes and sells remote cardiac monitoring systems and related services. Its wearable cardiac ECG monitor, RhythmStar, includes a built-in 4G cellular connection.;;

RhythMedix is based in New Jersey and was founded in 2013. Its system uses proprietary algorithms and the RhythMedix Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility to evaluate users’ heartbeats. The device provides actionable data to health care providers.
