Delaware’s Christina School District RFP CSD-2012-24 Seeks Therapeutic Classroom Services For Elementary School Students

For the 2012-2013 school year, the Christina School District in Wilmington, Delaware has contracted with Providence Service Corporation–Delaware to provide therapeutic classroom services for elementary students with severe emotional needs. Students are referred to the Providence Service Corporation classroom if they have not responded to traditional school supports and interventions. The contract, valued at $220,000 per classroom per year, started September 11, 2012 and runs through September 10, 2013, followed by a one-year renewal. This is an entirely new program; the district had no existing contractor for these services.
