VA Accepting Applications For $52.5 Million In Grants For Suicide Prevention Services For Veterans, Families

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is offering grant funding totaling $52.5 million for community-based organizations that provide or coordinate suicide prevention services for veterans and their families. The grants, which will be awarded through the VA’s Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program, are available to organizations offering services such as veteran mental health screenings, case management and peer support services; delivering emergency clinical services; and reaching out to veterans at risk of suicide.
