MedPAC Memo Re: CMS Demonstrations With States On Integrated Care Programs For Dual-Eligible Beneficiaries

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commision (MedPAC) has released a memo regarding the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services demonstrations with states on integrated care programs for dual-eligible beneficiaries. The letter was released on July 11, 2012 and included comments from MedPAC on the demonstrations. MedPAC commented on five aspects of the demonstrations: scope of the demonstrations, passive enrollment, plan requirements, monitoring and evaluation, and program costs and savings.
