The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is in the process of moving from a risk-based model to a new approach used by 16 other states for child protective services investigations that focuses on determining child safety. The document is a presentation about the new Florida Safety Decision Making Methodology given at a DCF meeting of the Child Protection Transformation workgroup.
