The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has released estimates of the effect on the prevalence of employer-sponsored health coverage. GAO looked at five studies that used microsimulation to estimate the effects of the Patient Protection and Affordability Act on employer-sponsored health coverage. The results of these studies showed little change in the near future, while employer surveys varied widely.
