Connecticut’s Continuum Of Care Set To Open Short-Term Crisis Stabilization Hub 

Connecticut-based Continuum of Care is expected to open a new 24-hour crisis intervention center in New Haven this spring. According to a report in Yale News, the REST Center will offer short-term interventions for consumers experiencing a crisis and in need of stabilization.  

The facility, which will be open around the clock, will serve as an;alternative destination to hospitalizations or jail. It will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed clinicians, and peers with lived experience. The facility will offer its services in a non-institutional, home-like environment.;
