Vitas To Buy Covenant Care’s Florida, Alabama Hospice Assets  

Vitas Healthcare, a unit of Chemed, agreed to acquire hospice operations and an assisted living facility from Covenant Care for an aggregate purchase price of $85 million. Covenant’s hospice operations are situated in Alabama and the Florida panhandle, and the assisted living facility is in North Pensacola, Florida. The acquisition is pending regulatory approval. ;
