California State Plan Amendment (SPA 24-0001)

On January 9, 2024, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) submitted State Plan Amendment (SPA) 24-0001 for review and approval. SPA 24-0001 contains the remaining SPA changes CMS agreed to split out from SPA 23-0036 in order to allow additional time for DHCS to address remaining CMS’ Request for Additional (RAI) questions, without delaying the January 1, 2024, effective date for SPA 23-0036. DHCS seeks an effective date of January 10, 2024, for SPA 24-0001 . . .
