CBO Estimates for the Insurance Coverage Provisions of the Affordable Care Act Updated for the Recent Supreme Court Decision

In July 2012, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released estimates for the health insurance coverage provisions of the Affordable Care Act. The estimates were updated for the recent Supreme Court decision. The report estimates about 2.6 million non-elderly low-income childless adults not otherwise eligible for Medicaid or eligible for Medicare live in states deemed unlikely to extend Medicaid coverage to the Medicaid expansion population between 2012 and 2022.
