Senior Helpers Acquired By Private Equity Firm Waud Capital Partners
Senior Helpers, which offers home care and wellness services for seniors, was acquired by Waud Capital Partners. The organization, which operates through more than 380 franchised and corporate-owned locations in 44 states, Canada, and Australia, was previously held by non-profit health system Advocate Health. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Senior Helpers, founded in 2002, is based in Maryland. In addition to its home care and wellness services, which are designed to enhance seniors’ ability to remain in their homes, it also offers special programs for chronic neurological diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases . . .
