Ascension Sells Three Northern Michigan Hospitals
Health system operator Ascension agreed to sell three hospitals and other facilities in Northern Michigan to MyMichigan Health. The agreement covers Ascension locations in the Michigan cities of Saginaw, Tawas and Standish. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close during summer 2024.
The agreement covers several sites. Ascension St. Mary’s of Saginaw is a 268-bed acute care inpatient facility.
