Washington Set To Open Therapeutic Youth Facility In Burien  

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is set to open the new Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility in July 2024. The 12-bed youth transitional care facility in Burien, Washington, is currently hiring staff, including registered nurses, psychiatric social workers, youth counselors, therapists, and custodians. 

The facility is a partnership between DSHS and the Department of Children, Youth and Families and Health Care Authority. It will be operated by the;DSHS Developmental Disabilities Administration.;
