Molina Healthcare Protests Florida Medicaid Decision, Plans Legal Challenge in Virginia   

In a recent SEC filing, insurer Molina Healthcare reported it is protesting;the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration’s decision to not award the company a Medicaid contract. Read the filing here.;

During April, Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration selected bids from Centene, Elevance, and Humana for statewide Medicaid managed care contract awards. In addition, bids from Community Care Plan and Florida Community Care were selected for regional awards. Bids from incumbents including Molina were not selected.
