Mental health assessment platform Videra Health raised $5.6 million in new funding. It said the funding would expand its reach to aid more consumers and drive development of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tools for mental health care screening and monitoring.

Videra’s technology uses AI and machine learning algorithms to analyze video data. It detects changes in users’ facial expressions, body movements and speech patterns that could indicate the presence of mental health conditions.
