CBO Report: Payments Of Penalties For Being Uninsured Under The Affordable Care Act

In September 2012, the Congressional Budget Office released a report on payments of penalties for being uninsured under the Affordable Care Act. Under the Affordable Care Act, by 2014, legal residents of the United States are required to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty tax. The penalty tax will be a flat dollar amount or a percentage of the household's income.
