Kansas Prevention Collaborative Community Initiative Grants Awarded To 10 Coalitions
Ten coalitions in Kansas are set to share more than $367,000 in grants from the fiscal year 2025 Kansas Prevention Collaborative-Community Initiative (KPCCI). The initiative is intended to prevent (or reduce) the incidence of addiction, and boost prevention efforts.
The coalitions will create their own comprehensive, community-based strategic plans for community-driven strategies to reduce underage drinking, youth marijuana use, shared risk, and protective factors and produce sustainable systems change. These funds are intended to focus on primary prevention.
