Colorado Launches Youth Mental Health Corps
Serve Colorado, which manages AmeriCorps programs in the state, is launching a Youth Mental Health Corps (YMHC) program. The program will;recruit, train, and deploy individuals tasked with;helping teenagers access critical mental health resources.;
Colorado organizations hosting YMHC members include Alpine Achievers Initiative, City Year, Colorado Youth for Change, Trailhead Institute, and United Way Southwest Colorado.; The YMHC will operate in collaboration with the Schultz Family Foundation, Pinterest, AmeriCorps, the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration, and the Colorado Community College System.; ;
