Boston Medical Center TEAM UP To Expand Integrated Behavioral Health & Pediatric Primary Care
The new TEAM UP Scaling and Sustainability Center, based at Boston Medical Center (BMC), aims to expand access to integrate behavioral health care for children in Massachusetts. The center integrates mental health services into pediatric primary care practices to increase access.
The clinical model is focused on prevention, promotion, early identification of concerns, and prompt care access. TEAM UP launched at BMC in 2015, and has reached 40,000 consumers. With the new center, the initiative expects to reach 126,000 children at 29 pediatric primary care practices.;
