Ethema Health agreed to purchase the assets of Kentucky-based Edgewater Recovery Center (ERC). The letter of intent agreement includes the purchase of the company or its assets, plus three real estate holding companies that own some properties from which ERC operates treatment centers. Financial details were not disclosed.

ERC operates in Kentucky’s Morehead and Paducah areas. It operates about 440 licensed beds in total and has another 66 beds set to come online in Paducah during 2024. ERC’s current census is about 170 clients. The Kentucky operation primarily provides care to Medicaid-insured clients.
