Montgomery County, Pennsylvania To Invest $18 Million In Emergency Behavioral Health Crisis Center
Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County plans to build a new Emergency Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The county’s Board of Commissioners announced an $18 million investment in the center, which will offer support, crisis intervention, and stabilization services for those experiencing mental health emergencies.;
The center will offer care to people of all ages. It will serve self-referred walk-ins and walk-ins referred by a mobile crisis team, as well as people dropped off by ambulance, fire, and police. The facility is expected to open during the second half of 2025.
