The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved New Hampshire’s request for a five-year extension of the “Substance Use Disorder, Serious Mental Illness, and Serious Emotional Disturbance, Treatment Recovery and Access” section 1115 Medicaid demonstration. The extension will allow the state to continue a variety of demonstrations, and introduce a new program, the Reentry Demonstration Initiative, to provide pre-release services for eligible incarcerated indivuals for up to 45 days before their expected date of release . . .
