Methodist Health & Acadia Healthcare Break Ground On Behavioral Health Hospital In Iowa 

Methodist Health and Acadia Healthcare entered a joint venture to set up a new;behavioral health hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. During August, the joint venture began construction on the new Methodist Jennie Edmundson Behavioral Health Hospital will serve consumers in western Iowa and eastern Nebraska. ;

The facility is set to open in 2026. It will have 96 inpatient beds, including 24 beds for children and adolescents. It will be a center of excellence and provide intensive outpatient services. ;
