University Of Missouri Thompson Center For Autism & Neurodevelopment Breaks Ground On Larger Facility To Double Capacity
The University of Missouri’s MU Health Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is building a new facility that will double its treatment capacity. The building is under construction and expected to open in early 2026. ;
Over the last 10 years, the Thompson Center has served 109 Missouri counties and nine other states. The center has more than 2,000 children on its wait list for diagnostic evaluation, and it expects the expanded facility to scale its ability to meet demand for care.;
