New Jersey Department Of Human Services Launching $3 Million DSP Workforce Development Initiative
The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) is launching a $3 million workforce development initiative for direct support professionals (DSPs) working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Through this initiative, the state seeks to provide a financial incentive of up to $1,000 each to 3,000 DSPs who obtain the National Association of the Dually Diagnosed (NADD) Competency-Based IDD/MI Dual Diagnosis Direct Support Professional Certification.;
