Los Angeles Expands Mental Health Crisis Program To Additional Communities
The City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Community Safety is expanding the CIRCLE mental health crisis response program to additional communities on the West side of the city. The unarmed CIRCLE response program deploys a team of mental health professionals and individuals with lived experience to respond to non-emergency calls to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) related to non-violent situations involving unhoused individuals experiencing crisis.
