Missouri’s Signature Psychiatric Hospital Closing Its Two Locations  

Signature Psychiatric Hospital, which is owned by Acadia, is closing its two sites in Missouri. The closure of the hospitals in Kansas City and Liberty means 154 staff – 124 full-time and 30 part-time employees – will lose their jobs.  

In a notice to the;Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development, the facility said it would close operations by October 18. Remaining Signature residents are being transferred to other services through collaboration with state and local agencies.;
