Visiting Nurse Association Of Greater Philadelphia To Close Amid Financial Losses
The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Greater Philadelphia is closing its hospice and home health operations. The organization said the closure was due to unsustainable financial losses. All intake is closed, and all operations will cease on October 28, 2024.
VNA of;Greater Philadelphia was acquired by Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC) in 2022. At the time of the acquisition, the organization said about 700 consumers used its home health services, while there were 120 enrolled in hospice. ;
