Founded in 1960 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, A.W. Holdings, LLC, also known as Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark), provides services to individuals with disabilities and behavioral health needs. Originally founded as a non-profit, in 2007 the organization restructured to form three entities: a for-profit, Benchmark; the original non-profit, Anthony Wayne Rehabilitation Center (AWRC); and a charitable foundation, Anthony Wayne Services (AWS) Foundation, which gets 60% of profits from Benchmark and redistributes those funds in the form of grants to the Northeast Indiana community where the company is headquartered.
