Wider Circle Expands & Partners With CareFirst BCBS Community Health Plan Maryland   

Wider Circle, which builds peer-driven online health communities, is partnering with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Community Health Plan Maryland (CareFirst CHPMD). Wider Circle will work with its Medicaid plan to boost member engagement and improve health outcomes. ;

Wider Circle’s strategy is to collaborate with health plans and provider organizations to develop peer-to-peer programs led by individuals from local communities. It said the model has been shown to reduce plan attrition and reduce inpatient visits. ;;
