NYC Health + Hospitals Long-Term Care Facilities Take New Steps To Promote Staff Wellness    

NYC Health + Hospitals said it recently launched three new wellness rooms at its long-term care facilities. The lounges are intended to offer employees a space to recharge during the work day. ;

The rooms will support staff at NYC Health + Hospitals’ Carter, Gouverneur, and Sea View locations. It said the rooms include art, quality furniture, and soothing lighting. ;

The rooms offer a location for NYC Health + Hospitals to offer wellness programming and for staff to learn about wellness resources and engage in peer support. The system also said it is offering;physical wellness activities including mindfulness meditation . . .
