Results from the 2011 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH): Mental Health Findings

In November 2012, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) published results presenting national estimates of the prevalence of past year mental disorders and mental health service utilization among the U.S. population aged 12 years and older. The report also includes data related to the co-occurrence of mental disorders with substance abuse. An appendix is also included explaining the survey used, statistical methods and measurement, and additional data sources.
