Performance Year Financial & Quality Results

On November 8, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) published these performance year financial and quality results. These results show that, during 2023, the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) generated net savings of more than $2.1 billion. Of the reconciled results for 453 accountable care organizations (ACOs) participating in the MSSP, 69% earned shared savings payments of nearly $3.1 billion . . .
