TennCare III Demonstration Draft Waiver Amendment

On October 29, 2024, the Tennessee division of TennCare published this TennCare II Demonstration draft waiver amendment. In this amendment request, Tennessee is proposing several modifications to enhance the services available to beneficiaries under the Demonstration. These enhancements include expanding the scope of services provided under the demonstration to include services for TennCare-eligible individuals with serious mental illness or serious emotional disturbance who are receiving treatment in an Institution for Mental Diseases; supporting the implementation of a new access/quality improvement program for hospitals; and improving the efficiency and transparency of the HCBS programs authorized under the demonstration . . .
