UPMC Opens New Addiction Recovery Center In York County, Pennsylvania

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) has opened a new addiction recovery center in York County, Pennsylvania. Located at 1779 5th Avenue in Spring Garden Township, the UPMC Center for Addiction Recovery offers confidential, comprehensive treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction. The center also offers mental health services.

The new UPMC center is an outpatient medical practice designed to keep people out of the hospital if possible. This is the third permanent UPMC Addiction Treatment Center in addition to facilities in Harrisburg and Hanover. UPMC is reportedly also considering an additional location in York County.
