MGA Homecare Acquires Ward Road Pharmacy To Expand Services For Medically Complex Consumers

MGA Homecare (MGA), which provides home- and community-based physical and behavioral health services, acquired Ward Road Pharmacy (WRP), which provides long-term care pharmacy and home medical supplies. Financial terms were not disclosed. Lance Barnard, CEO and owner of WRP, will remain in his leadership role while spearheading the national expansion of MGA’s Long-Term Care Pharmacy and Home Medical Supply division.

MGA believes the acquisition of WRP will help it better meet the needs of medically complex consumers by offering consistent and enhanced pharmacy services, medical supplies, and coordinated care solutions. WRP provides the following services:
