Empower Community Care acquired the Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) Institute from the University of Miami. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The BSFT Institute provides services for youth with behavioral and emotional challenges. Its model works to enhance family relationships, reduce problem behaviors, and improve overall family functioning. The organization is led by Executive Director Joan Muir, Ph.D. The organization believes that by integrating with Empower’s network it can expand its reach and deepen its impact.
