The Ensign Group Announces Expansion In Tennessee & A First Operation In Alabama

The Ensign Group, which invests in and provides senior health and living services, has agreed to add eight skilled nursing operations in Tennessee and one in Alabama, subject to the completion of certain regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. It is anticipated that the transaction will be effective in the next few months.

The acquisition includes the real estate and operations for the facilities. The real estate assets for all eight facilities will be purchased by Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc., Ensign’s captive real estate subsidiary.
