Molina Healthcare Closes ConnectiCare Acquisition

Molina Healthcare, Inc.’s acquisition of ConnectiCare Holding Company, Inc. closed effective as of February 1, 2025. At closing, ConnectiCare served approximately 140,000 members across Marketplace, Medicare, and certain commercial products. The final financial details were not disclosed.

The acquisition was announced in July 2024. Molina entered an agreement with insurer EmblemHealth to acquire its ConnectiCare subsidiary for $350 million. ConnectiCare operates in Connecticut.

Molina said the acquisition was a strong strategic fit. Molina provides managed health care services under the Medicaid and Medicare programs and through the state insurance marketplaces.
