Illinois Seeks Care Coordination Services for Children With Complex Medical Needs

On October 24, 2013, The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services published a Solicitation for Care Coordination Entities for Children With Complex Medical Needs. This solicitation is in accordance with Public Act 96-1501 which requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to move at least 50% of recipients eligible for comprehensive medical benefits in all programs administered by the Department to a risk-based care coordination program by January 1, 2015.
