California Expands Residential Services For Addiction & Co-Occurring Mental Health Needs At Two Los Angeles County Locations
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is expanding residential services for individuals with addiction and co-occurring mental health needs at two locations in Los Angeles County.
On February 1, 2025, The Whole Child—Mental Health and Housing Services began providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive mental health, family housing, parent enrichment, and nutrition education services for families in southeast Los Angeles who face barriers to accessing care, including youth and families experiencing homelessness.
