Gentry Health Services & Pleio Report Promising Results From GoodStart Peer Support For Specialty Medication Adherence

Specialty pharmacy Gentry Health Services (Gentry) and Pleio, Inc., which provides a pharmacy platform called GoodStart™ that encourages medication adherence, reported a promising increase in consumer medication adherence among participants in a collaboration that started in April 2024. The collaboration offered consumers taking an immunology biologic access to Pleio's GoodStart program. The program connects consumers upon prescription intake to additional peer support through the onboarding process, specifically addressing emotional barriers linked to nonadherence. Gentry and Pleio now plan to expand the partnership to support more consumers across other therapeutic areas.
