Anchor Medical Associates To Close All Locations, Effective June 30, 2025

Anchor Medical Associates, a consumer-centered medical care provider in Rhode Island, will close all locations, phasing the closures through June 30, 2025. The closure decision was attributed to various business factors, including the inability to replace retiring physicians.

The organization encouraged its health care consumers to start searching for new primary care provider organizations, and to request their medical records prior to the closure date to avoid lapses in continuity of care. After the closure date, medical records will continue to be available, the company said.
