Oregon Medicaid To Submit State Plan Amendment To Add CCBHC Services

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) intends to submit a Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) seeking federal approval to add Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) services to the Medicaid State Plan, effective October 1, 2025. Oregon’s Medicaid CCBHC demonstration expires on September 30, 2025.

As a state plan benefit, the services will be the same as those currently available under Oregon’s Medicaid CCBHC demonstration. Before submitting the SPA to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), OHA is accepting public comments through May 23, 2025.
