Geisinger Breaks Ground On $880 Million Danville Hospital Expansion & Modernization Project
Central Pennsylvania-based health system Geisinger broke ground on an expansion and modernization project valued at $880 million for its hospital medical center in Danville. The expansion to Geisinger Medical Center includes the construction of an 11-story tower that will feature a new, larger emergency room that will double the square footage of the current space and increase the number of beds from 45 to 60.
