Texana Center Shutting Down Its 14 Houston-Area I/DD Group Homes

Texana Center, a Houston-area provider organization, is shutting down its 14 group homes for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and laying off more than 100 workers. The closures are planned through 2025. Approximately 50 clients will be affected.
