San Diego County Awarded $1 Million Grant To Help End Girls Incarceration
The San Diego County Probation Department and nonprofit San Diego Youth Services are implementing a two-year grant valued at $1 million to implement a program intended to reduce, and ultimately end, the incarceration of girls and gender-expansive youth. The grant is from the Sierra Health Foundation, California Office of Youth and Community Restoration, and The Vera Institute of Justice.
